Question We have a 1 year old Female Maltese. We also have a new baby coming in about 1 month. Our dog seems to be jealous of other small children that visit. We are very worried that she will have a problem with our new baby. Any ideas as to how to handle the transition?

Lol maltese are suche jealous dogs lol. Firstly start giving her boundaries now ie punishment she stays in her basket etc.
stop allowing her on bed just little changes like that so it doesnt seem like all this is going to happen when baby comes and she starts getting dominant.
Its different when its your child that they live with and have to get used to it.
youll probably find that she will want to protect the baby and may become difficul when strangers come.
but dont worry if you start now it will be fine.
