Question
I'm getting a Maltese puppy in a few weeks. We found a great breeder and she has males and females for sale. I was wondering if it would be wiser to get a male or a female. I've been told a male is the wiser decision and I think both have there benefits. What is your opinion?

Answer
well i favour males i think they have a better temprement and are very caring, however females also have this quality,
males tend to be "easier" to look after due to females heat time.
males and females can also be very protective, but if its as a family pet and not to breed i believe that males are the best choice.
