Question I need help understanding what Transparency in Corporate Governance, and the relationship between the self-interests of management related to effective corporate governance.
Plus can you recommend what books, articles that I could refer back to as well.

I think you should begin by understanding what corporate governance means. Corporate governance is related to the way the Board structures the systems of an organisation to ensure proper internal control culminating in timely and factual reporting. Transparency means that nothing is hidden or concealed and that all risks are identified and managed. The self interest of management is maintain their position and enhance their remumeration whilst corporate governance must ensure that approval is obtained for all transactions according to guidelines and authorities in place and there is proper balance with the interests of all stakeholders
