Managing a Business/Amending a wrongly documented business plan

Question
At the beginning of the year I documented a business plan for an organization unit without indicating how my planned strategies contribute to attainment of the overall business objectives for the year. Having realized this, with the year having progressed past Q1, how do I deal with this situation - as it is obvious there are some aspects of business direction that my plan did not address?

Answer
GIDEON,
I understand  your  situation.
The  business  plans  are  guidelines,  which  are  made  based  on  various  variables  which  are  subject  to  changes during  the  course  of  the  year.
We  generally  audit  the  business  plan  every  three  months, reviewing  the  variables.
MY  SUGGESTION
-at  the  end  of  the  first quarter, audit  the  business  plan.
-make  the  changes  required.
-include  a  small  contingency  plan.
-present  it  to  the  management  team.

ALWAYS  , REMEMBER ,  TO   ADD  A  CONTINGENCY  PLAN   TO  THE  BUSINESS  PLAN.
