Replacing each value greater than and equal to 1.8 with plus signs and below 1.8 with minus sign

We have to find that whether 4 plus sign observed in 11 students group supports the null hypothesis p=1/2 or alternate hypothesis p>1/2.

Since computed  

Therefore, we conclude that, the intelligence is a random function.
