Then I have to take care of my home like cooking, cleaning etc etc...My husband is not at all supportive. He helped me few times but its ultimately my responsibility. I am not able to perform good at work. Plus I am not getting good grades. I am stressed because I don't have enough time for myself. It seems like I am doing everything with no good results. I am kind of wasting time. I want to study & manage my home. I want stress free life. pls help me!!!

Answer
Hi Neha;
A hectic schedule for sure!!! Join the ranks of wives that try to do it all! YUK!

Don't panic, believe it or not, your schedule can be saved so that you have time for yourself a frig full of food to heat and serve, the house can be clean, studying will be done and you will still have time to yourself and a few minutes left over for a refreshing bubble bath.

You will find that very few men are supportive when it comes to housework. Besides that, they would drive you crazy if they tried to help---I am not saying all men---but most, will make more of a mess than to actually be a help. There are a few (bless them# that are great at it, but I can count on my fingers the amount that I know of. So, in a way, count your blessings, because next to what your husband can do, people will think you are a miracle worker!

Now, let's get a schedule together for you.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays are devoted to work and school---period. Add a refreshing bath to take away some of the stress too.
Thursday night is devoted to catching up on homework that you may have lost track of.

By the way, this is what is going on while you are doing that homework: You will have a oven full of food that is cooking. A roast, a chicken and some lasagna or a casserole.
You will have lasagna for a meal with some leftovers, the leftovers from the roast will become hot beef sandwiches or mix up the carrots and potatoes that were in it along with the beef and a can of gravy and you will have beef stew for another night. You will have chicken for a meal and then either use the rest for sandwiches, ranch chicken in a soft taco shell or chicken noodle soup #a large can chicken broth, a can of cut up carrots, some chicken and noodles. Get the picture. No cooking, just heat and serve......God your smart!

HINT-you can also throw a load of clothes in the washer and dryer while this is going on. Or do it Mon-Wed, while you are in school. One load a night..

Friday night or Saturday is cleaning day. Now lets face it, You aren't really cleaning 'dirt', it is clutter that is in the way. If you spend ten minutes a night or in the morning, doing a ten minute tidy, there won't be a lot to really clean up. Save the major clean for once a month. Right now all you have to do is dust, wash the floors, change the sheets and spray with a neutralizer to give the air a fresh smell, or light a few lavender or vanilla candles for about an hour. Each 'cleaning day' tackle something extra---like fill a bucket with vinegar and water, wash all the mirrors or windows or wipe all of the glass decorative pieces in the house. By the end of the moth usually the only real major cleaning is to wash and wax the floors.

Happy relaxing!
