Manilow, Barry/A school question

Question
Hello John,

Could you please tell me what grammar school Barry attended? I do know he entered this school in September, 1949. Thanks Tom

Answer
I don't have any information on that, I'm sorry.

Barry, his mother and grandparents lived at 100 Broadway in Williamsburg, Brooklyn until around 1953, when the family moved to Division Ave.

PS 19 seems to be the closest school to that address these days, but I'm not sure he went there.

I will shake a couple of trees, and see if this can be researched.   Thanks for writing in!   --JB

Expertise

I can answer almost any question about Barry`s music and videos: Content, lyrics, instruments, arrangements. You know -- the important stuff! ***PLEASE NOTE: I don't work for Barry or his organizations. I don't know him personally. I'm like that guy on PBS that talks about Mozart, the knowledge is based on 35 years of study, not from any insider information. *** --JB
