Question Dear Joe:
Is necessary submitt a Process control Documet prior FAI i mean , I need first a sample after i can determinate my CPK and thinks like that
thanks Abraham
Answer Great question Abraham!
I’ve never come across a situation involving simultaneous FAIR (AS9102) and key characteristics (AS9103) requirements. If there is a KC on the drawing (AS9103), then obviously that would have to be accounted for in the FAIR (AS9102). However, if the “first article” truly is first, then only that one piece exists, and you cannot make any statistical judgments (Cpk, etc.) based on a one-piece sample.
Therefore, I would agree that you should submit the AS9103 control plan for the FAI, and provide Cpk, etc., later, as you have already suggested.
