Manufacturing - Margin Modelling in Excel

Expert: Peter A. Crosby - 9/19/2008

Question
Mr. Crosby,
I've been tasked with either modifying an existing spreadsheet or creating a new system to do margin model analysis for new product introductions. I have to account for raw materials all the way up to the finished good, with freight and overhead thrown into the mix. I'm an Excel expert as well as proficient in Access. I've scoured the Internet unsuccessfully, so I'd like to ask if you know of any templates for either software that would facilitate margin modelling in a manufacturing environment.

Thank you for your time,
Bernie

Answer
Bernie:

There are many software and model templates that would facilitate margin modeling in a manufacturing environment.  Our consulting group, CGR Management Consultants LLC, has used many of these in our work with manufacturing clients.

If you wish to retain me and my firm in conducting a sftware and model search and fit analysis, please contact me at:
