can u suggest factors that should be taken into account for selection of site for a glass factory

Answer
The major factors are:
Local availability of silica sand and other raw materials.
Local availability of lots of cheap power.
Reasonable pool of trained people.
Closeness to customers that would purchase glass products to reduce transportation costs due to weight and volume.
Close to an adequate road and rail system.
