Question
QUESTION: Greetings, my question is:
What would happen to the Pharmaceutical Industry, especially someone who has M.S. in Pharmaceutical Engineering if there is a World War, or somekind of Economic Collapse like that predicted around 2012(which I don't believe, but what if?)? Will I be able to find a good paying job or will the World or U.S. not care for pharmaceuticals during a certain crisis like lack of general resources like food and water?

ANSWER: Don't worry about it.

QUESTION: Last question: Which pharmaceutical engineering M.S. program is better?
Substance Developement or Product Developement?
Which one pays higher and which one is more interesting?

Answer
All depends. If you like Chemistry go into Substance Development. If you like innovating, evolution, variety and growth opportunities with the company go into Product Development. Every company will pay according to what they need and both have value. If you run after money only, you will not be successfull. You must give and create value for yourself, your company and society. Best wishes.
