Question
there is an abbrevation written on almost every type of electronic products that is "CE" what
does it mean?

Answer
The CE marking is the European equivalent of the F.C.C. marking in the U.S. It says that the matked device complies with the European requirements on EMC and EMI (ElectroMagnetic Compatibility and ElectroMagnetic Interference).
You can find the list of directives (European standards) here:
http://europa.eu.int/comm/enterprise/newapproach/standardization/harmstds/reflis...
The European directives are somewhat diferrent from the F.C.C. requirements so manufacturers use the CE mark and the FCC mark.
