Question I would like to find out to go about finding what the wind zone is for a mobile home if the information is missing.
Answer There should be a data plate stuck on the inside of a cabinet door, fusebox cover or closet wall somewhere in the home that tells all the information about the home. If that is missing, your next best source would be to get the HUD # from the HUD plate that is mounted on the rear corner of the home. (Usually starts with 3 letters and a few numbers) That number can be referenced by the manufacturer who built the home to retrieve the information about the home or the 3 letters indicate who the inspecting company is and they may be able to provide you the information you need.
I hope this helps you. If the home does not a HUD plate attached to it, then it was built prior to 1976 and cannot be moved or relocated.
