Question
dear Nandkishore gitte,
I want to know if I can take up any off-shore job after some 6 yrs of working in the ship. The basic problem why i am thinking like that is because of m,y would-be family.
i want to have some off-shore job is it possible????????/

Answer
Dear jeevan,
Yes ,today the shipping industry is at such a stage that they require a huge trained man power not only onboard a ship but on shore too.

First let me know your background i,e Your past EXP. Rank, Deck/Engine side and also your country.

If you are an engineer then you have options in AC and REFR  maintenance  in 5 star hotels where marine engineers are preferred. Plant maintenance in any production plant Unit.
if you are wishing to study, and willing to go for 1 year MBA in shipping. Then you can enter the commercial aspect of shipping.
