I can answer questions about all marketing although my specialty is Guerrilla Marketing. If you don't have the budget of Wal-Mart, you need Guerrilla Marketing. If you're not familiar with Guerrilla Marketing, the premise is that you can do what the big boys do, but less expensively, if you're willing to use your time, energy, and creativity.

Experience
42 years of experience marketing companies that I have founded, developed and sold, starting with my research and typing service for college students when I was 10.

Question
I have been putting together the pieces to launch my business which lies in the jewelry / bead industry (semiprecious pendants). I have been looking / researching for a low cost marketing advisor / consultant / company with experience in the jewelry / bead industry.  I need guidance for I believe in my niche product but with little to now funds I need crystal clear direction on launch strategy.
Can you provide me with any recommendations?

Answer
Hey, Kathy.

Without a properly capitalized company, it will probably take a longer to get established. Consequently, with little to no funds, I think your best bet is to get a web site up and running. All things considered, they are very inexpensive and you'll have a potential market of about six billion people. Make sure you hire someone who is top notch in creating good-looking web sites, which I think is a must for semiprecious jewelry, and one who is all-knowing about search engine optimization.

I could probably get you a few good recommendations if you'd like.
