Marketing/EMarketing Inquiry

Question
Hi, my name is Frank Huang, and I have been offered a position as the marketing chief of a non-profit charity. The foundation does not currently have a marketing adviser, nor does it have the funds to hire a professional one, so I was offered the position as an internship. I have very very basic knowledge of online marketing, besides generating hits on my blog, and entering them into search engines. I was hoping to get some guidelines or tips on how I should start off, any books or websites I should refer to, or any other help in general. Any information at all would be fantastic. Thank you.

Answer

Hopefully this is a good starting point.
