Question
 Hi Kip,
After some years putting together some of the elements of a web startup i know i need help of high quality to move forward and take the project into the next stage.
Could you suggest a strategy to help me recruit a number of over 60's ( i am 73 ) who might join with some incentive .
I have a clear vision and offices in UK and Mian ChannuPunjab but the whole project is getting too big for me to handle alone.'

The concept is proven on www.testmyidea.com with the alpha site ready in a few weeks.

I will be pleased to ive you more information as required

Answer
Hi Ian!
First let me say hats of to you for launching a project like this at 73!, I assume you want older but also investors to launch this project. I would take advantage of social networking and link them to your site. Twitter, Facebook, Linkdin, Etc. you can also post free ads on Craigs list. Join CEO sites, investor groups, hire a great blogger and have them write blogs that start a viral awareness of the project. You can use local media and place demographic driven ads in the financial section, the obituaries and local news sections. Buy a list of people 60+ and start a dedicated mail and e-mail program to reach them. Offer to speak at local civic groups that have an older membership like the Lions international. Once you locate a source of quality people then just keep talking to them about your idea. I would focus on finishing the website first so you have a fully functional model, then start your process of locating people. You can also put a small classified ad in financial publications and legal magazines that older executives are more likely to read.
Kip
