Answer Your questions are a little confusing. Let me see if I can simplify this. First, lets say the product is ear muffs. You need to find out how many ear muffs are sold in your country each year, and what the annual sales are in currency. That tells you the size of the market right now. Do you want to import ear muffs? Why would the stores buy your ear muffs instead of the ones they now have to sell? Is there something special about your ear muffs? You need to do some research - a survey of stores that sell ear muffs and ask what they are selling and why, then give them a description of your ear muffs, why they are special and ask if they would buy them. That will tell you something about the potential market for your product. If you want to have an exclusive import license, I think you negotiate that with the manufacturer. Your local import/export office may be able to help with information on whether the product is now imported into your country.
