Marriage/I'm a Canadian marrying a US Citizen in NYC in March.. What do I need?

Myself and my fiance are planning to marry in March in New York.
I'm a born and raised Canadian and he is born and raised in Buffalo NY.
I have been looking all over the internet and asking people what documents and what not that I may need for this marriage to happen and I cannot find a straight answer.
So, as a Canadian(Vancouver BC) planning to marry a US citizen in New York state in March, what documentation do I need to bring to make this legitimately possible?

Hi Samantha~

I just Googled using key words "what documentation does a foreign person need to marry an American".  And several helpful links came up.  There is a process you have to go through of course and these sites listed below should be beneficial for you to help you with what you need to know.  The first two seem very helpful with information for you.  The second link has info on what you need to do to obtain a Visa as a fiancée (such as in your case), it has more info at the bottom of the page. I hope this helps you some.  Congrats on your engagement and upcoming marriage. Just copy and paste these links one at a time to your browser and you should be set.
