Question sorry this is my first time using this site lol
..but my question is do u no if a glaive ( 'S' shaped duble bladed knife type weapon) is infact a martial art weapon?
..cuz i'v seen them used in movies (like 'Blade' lol vampire movie) so i went out n bought a set, but i dont no much a bout them.
if u can answer my question id appreciate it

Answer Hi there Jordan,
The glaive in the Blade movie was used in a similar fashion to a throwing star. But in the film he was able to 'control' it in a similar fashion to a boomerang. Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible to throw a metal projectile with that kind of spin and curve through the air. (Only advanced firearms can do that...)
But if you want to learn to throw the glaive you bought, you might try and check out shuriken/throwing knife technique?
I tried searching on Youtube just now for a clip of someone using a glaive. Didn't turn up anything, though there are tons of videos when it comes to throwing start stuff.
