Question hi peter,
in your honest opinion, from all your expertise what is the most effective (chines) martial art out there, one that can easily handle multiple opponents and give you confidence at the same time.
Answer Hi Dave,
Thank you for asking.
In most Chinese Martial Art, the principle seems to start from assumptions and then responses.
From old masters, I understand that one form can be effective against the other, but may be total useless when against the third. And the third may not be the best among the many.
Most schools and systems do not really give training on group fight.
Rather, the attention is put on training of body quality such as sustainability(Iron Shirt), weapon such punch (Iron Fist),and body mechanism (framework).
Confidence refers to reserve ability against one. That the technique is based.
I hope I understand the rationale of your thinking.
