Question I am searching for best form of martial art that can suite to my physic and requirements. I am 27, Wight 59, hgt 5'7" medium built. I would emphasis to go for the art which is more meditative and requires mind strength along with body. Request you to suggest me the form which i can learn according to my qualification and requirement considering the fact that i am new to the word martial art and know very less about this art. You can mail me your reply at bjpatel2010@yahoo.co.in
Answer Dear Bipin,
You question is quite a special one.
The word Martial Art refers to two things.
One is contact. Another one is non-contact.
For the non-contact, it is more on self-expression, that gives you more involvement for meditation, mindedness, and Zen.
However, all MA at the highest level, spirits and recovery also involved.
That is, ability to foresee, and time gained to response.
Bipin, if you are looking for some sportive, you may join classes of sparring for appreciation. If you are looking for body energy, start something that involves physical movements and exercises.
Before you can master you body, there is no Zen, meditation, and mind strength whatsoever.
Thanks for asking.
