Martial Arts - Death Art

Expert: R. Baker - 9/27/2006

Question
I had always heard that there was a style of martial arts that was known as "The Death Art". I was assuming it had mostly to do with various death dealing blows and moves, but then again, I'm not sure if it even exists. Does it? And if so, what are the in's and out's of the art?

Thank you in advance.

Answer
Tyrus,

There is a so called "Death Art" called Dim Mak.  Generally the art of Dim Mak utilizes various strikes to the nerve centers of the body. As for the "Ins and Outs" Dim Mak is a very guarded system taught to very few TRUSTED people because of it's lethality, although any senior ranking black belt in karate should know at least a few "Dim Mak" techniques.

If I can be of any further asssitance just drop me a line.
