Hello. My experience is mainly in Japanese martial arts including Japanese Swordsmanship and how it applies to open hand/self defense. I have also studied a few Korean styles and may be able to answer basic questions concerning them. General questions from beginners, intermediate, or advanced students are acceptable as are more specific questions. Martial arts are my passion and I love sharing.
I have been studying martial arts for 17 years. I received my first black belt in Hwarang-Do. Next I obtained a black belt in Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido and a 1st kyu in Aiki Tora Ryu Aikido. I continued my studies with Tang Soo Do earning 1st gup and finally found the style I now teach: Kan Ryu Taitokudo. I hold a Yondan (4th degree black belt) in it.
