Masonry/Brick Laying/cement driveway

Question
Hello, hope you can help me out. I have a cement driveway that is flaking away, the privious owner must have used a de-icer that has attacked the cement. Other than that the driveway is in good condition, no cracks at all. Is there a sealer available, or a coating I can put on to keep it from further deterioration. Hope you can help me out.....thanks....Lorne

Answer
Hi Lome,
There are a good number of sealers you can buy. There are also concrete coatings that can change the color of it as well. These go on before the sealer.  Check for best warranty and how they stand up to salt and freezing. It should have epoxy in it those will stand up the best.
Good Luck
