Question I am cooking beans for a non profit organization. They will serve 1/2 cup beans per plate. So far have 200 sold tickets. I can do the calculation if I know how many cups of cooked beans I can get from 1 lb of dried beans.
Answer I don't quite understand what you are asking, do you need to know how many 1/2 c servings of beans are in 1 lb?
If that is what you are asking, it is different for evey bean. Also the growing conditions (such as soil, climate, rainfall, location, ammount of sunlight) will vary the size and density, this will affect the yeild.
