Massage/energy

QuestionHi John,I finished Indian Head massage course last autumn but every time when I do it or someone does it for me I become sick. Usually it starts in the first half of the treatment. I feel sudden, quite strong blow in to my chest. I feel that it hits between throat and heart chakras. It feels like tiny door or window opens and lets that flow enter into my body. And then my heart starts palpitating severely, I get a headache, I can't sleep for two nights and feel absolutely sick for two days. After two days everything comes back to normal. I have never had any heart illness, my blood pressure is normal. I love doing Indian head massage but I am afraid now to get sick after that.
At the moment I am learning Holistic massage and I don't feel any effects like during Indian Head Massage. I am not "attacked" with anything from above and my heart isn't palpitating like wild. Though my hands feel hot and packed with thousands of small needles.
Some time ago my friend asked me to practice reflexology on my feet for her case study as she is a reflexology student at the moment. When she touched something on my sole at the same moment I was "hit" on my chect and again palpitations started and again two sleepless nights. At that time I felt very clearly that my fingers and hands were very hot, burning, I felt like thousands of needles in my fingers and my hands felt like big spades. I asked my massage teacher and some of my friends for advice but no one could explain to me properly what was going on. My friend adviced me to ask Reiki practitioner for that but I decided to do Reiki on myself. I did and the next day I felt great. No heart palpitations, no headache and my knee injured by osteoartritis is getting better. Well, there are small needles in my fingers all the time but they don't bother me.
What should I do to prevent myself from getting hurt by those "attacks" during Indian Head massage? Should I take Reiki course? Or is there anything to do with chakras healing?
Thank you for reading. I would appreciate your reply very much. It would help me to find what I am looking for.
Thank you and kind regards,
Virginia
AnswerHi Virginia
Thank you for the opportunity to offer insights. From your explanation and from my personal experiences your Mind/Body/Spirit is energetically holding onto something. A past trauma, that effects the chakras you mentioned.
Generally when we work on others and some energetic experience comes up for us, then it's time for us to do some homework on what we haven't resolved in our lives. The experiences you have described as an attack is the Universe lovingly reminding you that you are a powerful being and when you experience let say for example a relationship heartache and you are challenged with forgiving that person or yourself by not letting go is stored somewhere in your body and wants to be released back to the Universe.
All the symptoms you are describing are energetic holding patterns or day to day mental resistances that you have chosen to hold on to.
Within you and only you is the answer, I am a lens that can share with you from personal experiences. What is happening to you is a gift and an opportunity for growth. Within you is the wisdom to resolve the mystery, it is however up to you to invest in listening to what your heart is telling you.
In all my years in energy work, whether it's with clients or myself symptoms that appear in the body originate from a choice we have made to deny our divine nature. Some belief that you have taken ownership of no longer serves you. A belief that tricks you into thinking in one way or this is my only choice. But it is an illusion and your body is telling you through pain, tingling and sleepless nights that there are other choices.
It is an amazing journey Virginia to realize that when we facilitate the space for others healing, we also create that space for healing ourselves. The people drawn to you share similar stories and together we help each other heal.
I teach a method of using our language as a means of healing. I take words and shift the energy of them to gain insights into my life. I do this by creating A.C.R.O.N.Y.M.S.
For example:
B.L.A.M.E. (B)etter (L)ook (A)t (M)y (E)xcuses
C.O.M.P.L.A.I.N. Creating Only More Problems Living Always In Negativity
J.E.A.L.O.U.S. Judging Everyone's Actions Luminates Our Unfulfilled Self
H.E.A.L. Helping Everyone Accept LOVE
Explore what words in your life that may be challenging you, tap into your divine wisdom and you will find what you are looking for.
And most importantly ASK for help from divine guidance, that guidance is always around you, but cannot help unless you ask. :)
To your healing and success
