Massage/Shoulder and hand pain

Question
Two weeks ago, I leased a new car.  For some reason, I am experiencing a lot of shoulder, arm and hand pain along my right side.  I primarily drive with my left hand and rest my right arm on the armrest and my hand on the gear shifter.  I have no clue what is causing this pain, but I have adjusted the seat to so many different positions and nothing helps.  I also purchased a pillow because the armrest is a little lower than my previous car but that doesn't help.  The pain will subside a few hours after I get out of the car but today it hasn't stopped.  I really don't want to end up with a medical condition because of the car.  Any advice I can get will be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Milly,

I think in this case you have to look at a few different factors. It could be the car, an old injury acting up, or even a work related issue. Without knowing what you do at work or how you are sitting it is hard for me to decide on what the problem could be.  Otherwise i'd say go see your doctor ad have some tests done.
