Good afternoon Catherine. Thank you for your question. To help you further-I actually need to know what exactly you need help with. As you can appreciate, you have asked me a very broad question. I can waffle on for months with information without knowing if I am actually answering your question.
If you could narrow the options to say; sports massage for instance-I might be able to accommodate you more specifically.
However, as you are researching the field-it might also help me to answer your question if you let me know where you have looked already and what those avenues missed out which you need help with.
Looking forward to hearing from you Catherine.
Cheers
thank you for your response i am sorry about the mix up

Answer Good afternoon Cathy. Please accept my apologies for taking so long to answer you. I have been carrying the world on my shoulders.
Stone Massage. I attended a conference earlier this year where we were given a display of Stone Massage. I was not impressed with it.
Devices rarely engage people psychologically.
Massage is not about knowing all the various techniques. It is not a discipline of the brain. It is not something you do with your hands. It is not something you find in your blood. Massage is something you do with your heart.
Try getting cordial with a stone!!
I think you could appreciate the fact that passion is not something we associate with stones-except women and diamonds!!
From time to time, we see variations on a theme. Everybody tries something new. Stone Massage is in that category. It is ephemeral by nature. As a massage practitioner, I would not recommend the treatment. I would not spend money learning it.
The presenter was very convincing and worked very hard on us. However, I am a massage purist. I could not get passionate about a stone.
Don't worry too much about find it difficult obtaining information about Stone Massage. It is very new and not widely practiced. It might have novelty value for first-timers only. I doubt that a practice or career could be built on it.
I might have answered your question Cathy. If you would like more information-please feel free to contact me again. If you are in New Zealand-let me know. I might be able to send you to the practitioner who demonstrated Stone Massage to us.
