Hi. i have this mastiff and she is roughly nine  months old. she is in heat right now, and she is bleeding. i was just wondering if you know how long they are in heat for? -its getting to be a pain in the but. anyways thankyou for your time.

Hi,
    Mastiffs are in heat for as long as two weeks 14 days.  It is quite messy, smelly, and a pain.  If she is not show quality or you aren't going to breed her, she really should be spayed.  She will be healthier in the long run and protected from mammary cancer and uterine cancers also she will be a better pet and alot cleaner!  Good Luck!  Jennifer
