i myself own a 1993 626 and have done alot of work to it.
such as a motor,tranny removal/install. timing belt replacement, suspention, exhaust, whell bearing, interior and exterior panel removal/replacement, alternators, starters, distrubutors,and much more

Question Joshua, I need to replace the manual, drivers side mirror to a 626. I haven't really taken a close look how to fix this myself. is this a project that a novice can take on, and what tricks/advice could you give me before I start taking things apart. thanks
Answer i also have a mazda 626 1993 and it's really somple to do there's a small plastic cover right behind the mirror on the by the inside door panel (not a part of the panel itself) simply give it a pull and the mirror is held in place by 3 screws easy fix shouldn't take more then 5min but keep in mind not to round off the head of screw good luck and happy fixing hope i was of some help
