Subject: Ford probe 2,5 v6 valve stem seals

Question
Hi, my Ford probe smokes heavily. Compression test was good so we narrowed it down to the valve stem seals.
Do you know if this is a doable operation? If so, do you have some tips before proceding?
thanks in advance,
Michael

Answer
it's very do-able if you have some common specality tools and an air compressor the heads don't need to be removed when removing parts make a point to put every piece back were it was (lable lable lable)

make sure you have the right remove sequince of all the bolts as you can warp the intake and heads if you don't remove the bolts in the right order
