Question
I have a 1994 Miata 1.8lL engine and the engine just stopped running while I was driving and will not restart.
I have replaced the ignition coil because it checked bad and I have replaced the spark plugs. I still cannot get teh engine to fire. Do you have any ideas and could the ignician coil going bad damage the ECU.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Answer
Sounds more like your timing belt failed.  Open the oil filler cap, look inside at the camshaft lobes while someone else bumps the starter.  See if the cam rotates.  If not, timing belt failure.  If it does rotate let me know and we'll go from there.
