Question
Hi Meg,

What year was this song released and was it only available as a single?

Thanks,

Mitch

Answer
Hi Mitch!

"Wonderful Christmastime" was released as a single in November 1979. Its B-side was "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reggae." Both songs were released as bonus tracks on the remastered version of Paul's "Back to the Egg" album.

Hope that helped!

Expertise

I have never yet been stumped on a McCartney related question, no matter how obscure! I have many resources unavailable to those who are not Maccaholics, so if for some reason I don`t know the answer to a question, I can find a correct, detailed answer very promptly.

Experience

I have been a McCartney fan my entire life. I'm extremely well-versed in his professional endeavors, be they Beatle days, Wings era, solo era, his classical works, painting, poetry, etc. I also know just about all there is to know about his family, personal trials and tribulations, general trivia, thoughts and feelings on a variety of subjects and so on - all special interests of mine. I own all McCartney recordings, including hundreds of unreleased tracks, and a quite substantial collection of rare interviews and appearances.

Organizations
I belong to a plethora of McCartney mailing lists.

Publications
My writing has appeared in numerous small town publications. A few short stories of mine about Paul are available online.
