Question
Hi, my name is Alex and I am a senior at Niceville High in Florida. I'm writing a career exploration paper and am interested in the field of Mechanical Engineering. I have a few questions and greatly appreciate your time. Any details that can be added to the questions would also be greatly appreciated.

1) How do you spend your typical work day?

2) What's the average starting salary for a ME? And, if you don't mind me asking, your salary?

3) Do you have control and/or flexibility with your hours?

4) Do your tasks seem to encompass a long time frame, or no?

5) Who are you employed for? And what type of agency is the 'best' to be employed to?

6) Are there good advancement opportunities your field?

7) Is your job challenging, exciting, etc?

8) What was your major in college? Any minors or dual-degrees?

9) What were your favorite subjects throughout school?

10) If you could go back and go through college again, would you choose the same path?
