Question
I shut off my ford explorer sport SUV vehicle and I get a burning smell. It smells like burning wires. What do you think it is. thank you for your time ellen

Answer
Well, Ellen, I am not a vehicle expert, but from what you describe it sounds like you have a short in the wiring somewhere. I would recomend that you have it looked at at an auto repair shop, as it could catch fire, and cause serious vehicle damage.
