Medical College of Georgia - Tuition

Expert: J.P. Saleeby, MD - 7/14/2008

Question
Okay, so my dream is to be an obstretician gynecologist and I have been working extremely hard to make my dream true. The thing is, is that i have no idea how much it will cost for one year at the Medical College of Georgia.
Would you happen to know?

Answer
Kelli,

Don't know the tuition these days... I graduated in 1991.  Am sure they have gone up since then.  State Med. Schools are a lot less expensive than private (ie.  Mercer or Emory)... as the state sponsors each student by providing about 50-75% of the cost of education.  At least that is what I was told back then.  Go to www.mcg.org to find the number for admissions and they can give you a better idea of your annual cost.

Best,

JP Saleeby, MD
