Question go to emergency room 730am pain in left side of head. ekgs etc given for heart problem. mri indicated and performed at 130pm results negative.my concern was anyeurisms. the staff continued to treat me for chest pain of which there was none. Finally a doctor asked me why was there.I told him I have no idea. this was at 130 am. he said I had a pinched nerve and sent me home. Nobody wheeled me to the front door and I drove home by myself. I know that is against the rules. I'm worried about anyuerisms and they are treating for chest pain. What a joke. Think I should report them to the hospital accredition? Thanks for your help.wayne
Answer If you feel like you need to make a complaint against a hospital, direct it to The Joint Commission, your State's hospital licensing agency and Medical Board, and go ahead and cc everything to The Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
I hope you are well.
