Question
hello i have a few questions. back in september of 2008 i had an ilioinguinal hernia operation,as soon as i had the operation i knew something was wrong. my scrotum swelled up to the size of a grape fruit and was black. the swelling went down after about three and a half to four monts but its still black on the bottom, what might the be could it be blood and what is it from. ever since the surgery i have had constant pain in my back groin and left leg from my knee up.  come to find out i have a pinched nerve in my groin and i have been getting shots and they are not working .. any solutions to sole the problem? and could this be considered medical malpractice .. it really limits me to what i can do and puts a damper on my life .. thanks andrew

Answer
I have no idea if this could be evidence of malpractice. I don't have a clue why you have had these problems. Was it the fault of substandard surgery? Maybe yes, maybe no.  You have to find a doctor to explain what is going on.  Only then can it be determined if malpractice occured. Good luck.
