Medical Malpractice - miscarriage

Expert: Jack Schroder - 6/25/2009

Question
i was 2 months pregnant 2 1/2 yrs ago i told my dentist that i was pregnant, and he said i wasnt a problem to continue getting work on my teeths, i lost the baby at 2 1/2 months could this have been the cause of my lose of the miscariage?

Answer
It might be. But that is a stretch. First, your statute of limitations has passed. So to file a lawsuit will be tough. Second miscarriage in the first trimester is common and often has no obvious cause. I'd just relax and try to forget your miscarriage. It is no one's fault, and certainly not yours.
