Answer Hi Harry and thanks for writing,
As you may be aware, 2/3 of men over 60 suffer from prostate issues at some time in their lives and blood in the urine is a common sign of an enlarged prostate. Most prostate issues can be easily treated and a good percentage are benign, but you do need to be assessed by a qualified physician to rule out the more dangerous prostate cancer so I advise you should make an appointment for a check-up this week to be safe.
