Education/Credentials Bachelors and Masters degrees in education. Marketing consultant for 25 years. This work, however, stems from a misdiagnosis I suffered in 2004 when I was told I had a rare cancer. I was able to do the necessary research to prove I had no cancer at all.
Question My girlfriend has and still is suffering from this disease I love her a lot and I am willing to do anything that will help her. I know that there is no cure for it but I do not want to give up hope, I know that there are a lot of new developments in health care. So I would like to know if there is any kind of research on on developing for a cure for chronic pancreatitis Disease. Thank you
Answer Hovanes,
The best way to learn about research is to know what work has already led to clinical trials. I did a search at clinicaltrial.gov and found this list:
You can read through the programs to see what the possibilities are. A Stage One clinical trial is very early, while a stage 3 or 4 clinical trial means there are only a year or so from knowing whether that research will result in a benefit for your girlfriend's pancreatitis.
