Education/Credentials Bachelors and Masters degrees in education. Marketing consultant for 25 years. This work, however, stems from a misdiagnosis I suffered in 2004 when I was told I had a rare cancer. I was able to do the necessary research to prove I had no cancer at all.

Question hey so i started my antibiotic the other day and and my biggest side effect bad taste in mouth just started today. its horrible!! all my food and drinks taste like it as well. is there anything i can eat or drink to help a little bit and give me some kinda of relief? the taste makes me sick to my stomach
Answer Whitney,
There are so many different antibiotics, and I don't know which one you're taking. Also, some foods conflict with the active ingredients, so you have to be careful about what you eat with the drug.
I think you can get your best information from your pharmacist. Call and ask to speak to the pharmacist (not a tech), tell him/her what your prescription is (s/he'll probably look it up) and ask how you can mask the taste. Mention that it makes you nauseous.
