Expert: Dr Mohd Tariq Salman - 8/1/2009

Question
How long does it take for Methadone to get out of one system if they have been taking this drug for two or more years?
How about Zanx?

Answer
It depends on half life (time taken for its concentration in blood to become half) of drug. Almost all the drug leaves the system after 5 half lives. Half life of Methadone varies between 15 to 60 hours with a mean of around 22. So it will be eliminated in 75 to 300 hrs. What is Zanx? please check the spelling and give the ingredients' names.
