My husband is suffering from renal failure due to a neurogenic bladder caused by a back injury. In searching for info on his condition, I have learned that a metallic taste in the mouth (which he has) can be a symptom of renal failure. The taste is due to a buildup of toxic substances in the blood. You may want to get that checked.
