Question
I am starting a medical supply and equipment business serving the public and eventually billing medicare and private insurances. The products will consist of hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers etc.

What and where would be a good reference to get an initial inventory stocking. Also what items do I need to consider.

Answer
I would recommend contacting the major manufacturers and distributors regarding stocking and invenetory.  They will be helpful in providing guidance to make you successful.

You will also need to decide whether you provide stock items or go after the custom business, particularly with regards to wheelchairs.  Also, canvas the medical community as to what they prescribe so that you can assure that you have it for the patient.
