I have limited knowledge on Medicare and Medicaid and that is not my expertise. Each state is very different regarding Medicare and Medicaid so you need to review their website when you have questions. So please no Medicare or Medicaid questions!!
Experience In the medical field for over 20 years spending majority of time in the collections aspect.
Question Hello. 2 dependent children (under 19) are fully covered under my employers fully insured health/dental plan. My ex refuses to share any outstanding medical costs as she just informed me that she has had them on medical assistance since 2006. Is there coordination between the fully ins policy and Medicaid? I have been paying the full 20% copay after my insurance plan has paid.
Thanks !

Answer Hi Andy!
Medicaid pays very little and if they deem a bill to be paid beyond their allowable, then they will not pay anymore.
However I would try........get the Medicaid information and try sending some copays to see if they will. Even if they pay some it is better than nothing.
