About Valerie Propst
Expertise
I have seen the entire Melrose Place series no less than 7 times. I own it on DVD, and know all the characters and actors in and out. I know all the plot lines, and what characters are associated with each other. The only thing I may not be able to answer is music questions.

Question
WHAT HAPPENED TO JO?

Answer
This was the final story line for Jo:

Sydney's friend Laurie comes to town with her young son Tyler. Jo takes them in because Sydney has no room for them. While babysitting, Jo discovers bruises on the boy's back.

Matt asks one of his medical school professors, pediatrician Dr. Dominick O'Malley, to look at Tyler. He finds no evidence of abuse. Laurie tells Jo to mind her own business.

Dominick gets Matt to set him up on a date with Jo. She convinces him to see Tyler again, and Laurie reveals that the boy was abused by her ex-boyfriend.

They begin dating, and shortly thereafter Jo is stunned when Dominick proposes.

During the last episode of season 4, Dominick prepares to leave for a yearlong relief mission in Bosnia. He asks Jo to come with him, but she is torn. This is Jo's last episode.

We find out in the first episode of season 5 that Jo ended up leaving to be with Dominick in Bosnia.

Taylor McBride rents her empty apartment in this episode.
