Question
can you tell me where the dip stick to a 1999 e320 is for the tranny fluid is

Answer
Best guess:
You have a W210.065 Chassis E320.

Answer:
E320 Factory Sealed Transmission.

If you want to service the transmission

You will need a dipstick (MB special tool) to check the fluid level, not to remain in transmission while driving.
Also make sure to add 220-271-0098 magnet to the trans pan.
The transmission does have a filter & is fully servicable.
You must use the "special" MB fluid, 8 liters are required.

This is not a transmission dipstick but rather a workshop tool with which to measure the fluid level on late style 722.6XX series transmissions. After fluid level is checked, replace filler neck cover pin using part 140 991 00 55.
