Question Last night I went to the gas station and filled up, turned the key and all I got was a click, I can hear the starter solenoid engage but not rotation of the starter. After tinkering for about 2 hrs at the gas station, some guy gave me a jump start, it did not appear to be a battery problem as the lights all worked, and even with the jumper cables on it would not start, then suddenly it sprang to life.
I drove the 2 miles home let it idle a while without the lights on, turned it off, tried to start it again, nothing just a click?
Any ideas?
It normally has been starting first time, the batt does not appear to be flat, no slow cranking, just nothing.
